Born and raised in Ketchum, construction is in David’s blood. He has spent much of his life working alongside his father, eventually joining the family business full time in 2000. Leadership was learned running construction projects in high school and being a NCAA Div. 1 Ski Team Captain, helping facilitate David’s takeover of Lloyd Construction by 2007. As president and construction manager, David directs projects from concept to full-operational status, while constantly looking for new ways to innovate, network, and earn new business. He is a CMCI Certified Construction Manager, and current National Association of Home Builders 20 Club trustee. He served as President of the Building Contractors Association of the Wood River Valley from 2009-2012, and on the City of Hailey Planning and Zoning Commission from 2008-2010. He is a registered Master Builder and Certified Green Builder, was named to the Top 40 Under 40 by Professional Remodeler magazine in 2012, and was extended the same honor by Professional Builder in 2016. David lives in Ketchum with his wife and two sons. When he’s not working you’re likely to find him rock climbing or skiing, spending time at his cabin in the Sawtooth Mountains, or keeping up with his wife on the running trails.
